| Fan Fiction | < Synchronized Singing >

We are all familiar with this sequence:

Book Novels -> Movie/TV shows

Comic Books -> Movie/TV shows

Manga -> Anime & Anime Movie

Manga -> Anime & Anime Movie -> Real Live Action Movie

Charmander -> Charmeleon -> Charizard

Egg? -> Chicken? -> Egg? -> Chicken?

Well aside from the Charmander Poke-evolution and the Egg-Chicken cycle, the other sequence all have something in common, which is a literary work or artistic work turned into a movie. This type of artistic-transition from one genre into another genre is popular these days and I want to do the same thing but with my own little twist which is a Song & Music Video into a Fan Fiction.

Music Videos are made by music artists to portray the contents of their particular hit song. It is to allow the listeners to have a view on what the music artist is trying to say in their lyrics. Those lyrics are mostly about the music artists experiences or they trying to convey a meaningful message for the listeners. We can say that those lyrics is like a script, a story, about things in the music artist mind. Basically, the music artist is the author and their song is like a book just expressed through melodies.

So, the Song & Music Video -> Fan Fiction, is pretty much a script into a Fan Fiction? Well, it is pretty much like that as that is what Fan Fiction meant more, but I will give it a little twist. I will name my Fan Fiction as "Synchronized Singing".

"Synchronized Singing", What is it?

A brief history on how I came up with the title. While I was watching a show in the TV a commercial for the USA Olympic Athletes came up and it features all of the sports the athlete will participate in and one of them is Swimming. At that same time I was also thinking about a concept for my blogs and previously I have read some Fan Fiction works of people in different sites. I first thought making a Fan Fiction based on the story and concept of a music artist song, in my case Ms. Lee Ji Eun, also known as, IU. Now back to the Swimming, pretty much when that USA Olympic Athletes commercial came up, I suddenly thought of Synchronized Swimming, and with that I just have to play around it, thus "Synchronized Singing" came to be.

The "Synchronized Singing" Fan Fiction story line will be mostly based on a music artist song lyrical content, in this case, IU-related. May it be her single or a duet, trio, quartet, to make it short a collaboration, all the Fan Fiction will be mostly based on that.

"Synchronized Singing" Fan Fiction is divided up by Episodes, where as one episode is equal to one IU-related song.

As I have said above the Episodes story line will be based/"Synchronized" to the lyrical content of the song but it will also feature a little twist. That twist is called a Crossover.

Crossovers or Fictional Crossovers is the placement of two or more otherwise discrete fictional characters, settings, or universes into a context of a single story more. For "Synchronized Singing", the characters in the story can be the characters of themselves in real life with their real life characteristics, such as experiences, status, and attitude, and also mixed with the characteristics (experiences, status, attitude, love interest, and etc.) of a fictional role they played on a drama or a movie. They can also be a parody of one of the made up characters in the story. This is also the same for the companies, variety show name, brands, and other things that is will be featured in the story.

Authors Note: All of the used personalities, companies, variety show name, and other things that will be featured in the story, will be properly featured at the end of every Episodes, to show the appreciation of the author for using them in the story.

This is "Synchronized Singing" Fan Fiction disclaimer:

Disclaimer: "The events depicted in this Fan Fiction are fictitious with a touch of reality (Real Fantasy). Any similarity to any living person are either a parody made or the true person themselves  and it is not so merely coincidental."
