In this blog, i'll show you how Seulong from 2AM handle a "Nagging" IU (wut? a "Nagging" IU, hmmm...).
IU and Seulong of 2AM recorded "Nagging" for the TV show We Got Married, a popular show featuring pairings of well known Korean Celebrity such as Hyun Joong - Hwang Bo, Yong Hwa (CN Blue) - SeoHyun (SNSD), Nichkun (2PM) - Victoria (f(x)), Leeteuk (Super Junior) - Kang Sora, and many more We Got Married. "Nagging"/"Jansori" features a scripted-like pattern, a dialogue between the duet in a melodic singing manner, it is as if they are arguing like a real couple or siblings, as what fans see them as (due to the 7 year age gap and the height difference). Well you guys decide for yourself if the lyrics make you feel they are a "Nagging" couple or a sibling rivalry as you sing a long to the song, Noraebang style, with the Romanized and English Translation below.
Note: The red lines are IU's part, which will be for girls (if you decide to sing as a duet). The blue lines are Seulong's part, which will be for boys. The purple/violet lines is where both will sing simultaneously.

잔소리/ "Nagging"/"Scolded" is written by Ms. Kim Ee-Na, the same lyricist for IU's "Good Day". As for the composition, it is by the composer Lee Min-Soo, who also composed "Good Day". This song is the first time the duo have worked with IU, which I think is a dynamic trio-team (Seulong at the bench :)), that produces wonderful songs. In this song there is not much of the instrumental element compared to "Good Day" aside from some piano here and there but what make this song catchy is its melody and the back and forth stanzas between IU and Seulong. It will make your head move as if you are following that moving thing inside a grandfather clock that goes left-and-right. With this song IU won awards in musical variety shows such as SBS Inkigayo and KBS Music Bank K-Chart. As for a music video/MV for this song, I was not able to find an Official Music Video instead I found various performances of this wonderful duet and I'll talk about on how they do in it. Almost all of the "Nagging" performances between these two always start with a calm entrance walk, cruising along with the songs piano instrumentals then as the beat is starting so does IU start singing. Not much for an entrance, but what about its entirety and the ending? Well as simple as the entrance is, it is the same for the whole performance, two singers showing their vocal ranges as well as being cute(?). Hmmm, you could judge it yourself, but to me it is somewhat cute, it is as if a couple is having fun up on stage. But what kind of couple do you see between this two?
Fans, spectators, and audiences mostly see this duo as a big brother-little sister combination because of their 7 year age difference and the height factor, as you can see in the performances. Seulong is "soo long" for IU (hehe, get it? "so long" :) ) If you ask me I see them as that type of sibling relationship. There are articles as well as from other 2AM's member themselves (from variety show interviews) that Seulong is nice to IU and gave her a gift when he was abroad (Seulong hitting on IU? or maybe as friends). Whatever is their relationship in real-life, I would really "shipped", as what the netizens say, this couple because they are an adorable one and as for me, an IU "fanboy", would not really see Seulong as a "threat" (oh, hallucinating me) compared to Taeyang and Wooyoung to name a few. I want this two to be a featured couple in We Got Married and see how they will develop, if it will stay the same as how the Nagging performance, with a somewhat aggressive yet playful IU and a somewhat shy yet same playfulness Seulong. As for now, this song is in my top 10 most played and on-repeat in my iPhone, because it it too darn catchy melody and the vocals is soothing.

As what I did in my "Good Day" Review, I featured an "Epic Lines" and as for this song I also have one which is sang by Seulong as it is his part. My "Epic Lines" for this song is "Junmeoni soge neol neoko danimyeon...Jeongmal haengbokhal tende", which the English translation is " If I could keep you in my pocket...I'd be really happy." When you hear those lines, you will probably like, "Whoa, controlling much." But as we can see from the performances of these two when singing the song, it looked like IU is the boss and have Seulong under her control. But think about it, in my (male) perspective, I would like to have IU in my pocket and hell yeah I'd be happy, probably on cloud nine. Let us keep it TV-Y7 (US standards) and use our imagination to compare this "Epic Lines" to a well known anime show from the start of the 21st century. You know what I'm talking about, an anime that can keep something in a pocket, or should I say keep a monster in a pocket (well a ball). Yeah I am talking about Pokemon, and I would really love the lovely IU as my "Pokemon" friend. Speaking about Pokemon, there is one Pokemon that is similar to IU's personality and talent. A cute little pink Pokemon that will put anybody, any Pokemon even if you are Legendary, to sleep, that we all know as Jigglypuff. Well Jigglypuff is not in my top Pokemon pick but if it is IU then she will skyrocket to my top list.

Also in my "Good Day" Review, I talk about the dance in the Music Videos, unfortunately this duet did not have any dance prepared for "Nagging" (although the song have a nice beat to dance to). So instead, I'll talk about their gestures toward each other in their stage performances. To keep things short, I'll mention my favorite "gestures" during their performances, which is when Seulong is trying to motion his face closer to IUs , as if gesturing for a kiss, and then IU gently poke Seulong's head back as if saying "Yeah right". Aside from their ending pose (IU interlocking her arm to Seulong's arm or the casual holding of hands), this is the part of the performance where it makes the audience giggles, in other words, cute. Well, I really want to hear more collaboration between these two, may it be a song or perhaps a We Got Married segment, or better yet a drama. As I have said before, I "shipped" this couple and looking forward to whatever they will do as a tandem.
