On November 9, 2012, I was watching a DOTA 2 player's stream playing the said game when one of the viewers shared his/her disappointment towards IU. I thought that viewer had just read/heard/watched about IU watching porn and that made the viewer disappointed, so I asked. That viewer just vaguely wrote that it was fresh news along with some more bash towards IU. So I went and looked for an article about it and since it was K-Pop related, I went to a well known news site about the genre, Allkpop.com. And there it was at the first page, an article with a title "IU and Super Junior's Eunhyuk, dating?". It was freshly written (56 mins ago) when I look it up and in that article had a picture of IU in her pajamas with Eunhyuk who appears to have not his shirt on and apparently looked tired. There was also a picture that IU posted on Twitter a couple of months ago of her burnt pajamas after her "ramen incident". The picture was to signify that the pajamas that IU wore in the picture with Eunhyuk was the same as the one that she burnt. All of this speculation started with IU posting the said photo of her and Eunhyuk on Twitter accidentally as it was took down by her 2 minutes later.

As hours goes by, in this same article, the Netizens (mostly International fans) that follows Allkpop.com commented various opinions ranging from the picture must be photoshopped to making rude remarks about IU. Whatever theories and stories these netizens came up with, there is one fact about this article at this time (as what other pictures/screenshot shows), IU uploaded the picture in her Twitter and deleted it quickly after 2 minutes.

My 2 cents: By looking at the alleged picture, I first thought it was photoshopped and IU's Twitter were hacked and someone (not IU) uploaded it. I know that it sounded like it was a somewhat potential response from either of the two idols agency, plus it was deleted 2 minutes later (according to the article). So for hours, I've waited for an article about the response from the companies about this issue as I am having fun reading the mixed response from K-Pop followers, may it be IU's fans or Super Junior's specifically Eunhyuk. By waiting for a response from the companies, the topic slowly began to trend in the Twitter world as well as in the site itself, Allkpop.com, with views and shares exceeding 10,000. There were a lot of "IU and Eunhyuk" tags that were talked/written about in Twitter that it made it to as high as the 2nd trending topic worldwide. With the story trended for a couple of hours, LOEN Entertainment releases a statement regarding this issue.

My 2 cents on LOEN Entertainment statement: The apologetic statement showed that LOEN Entertainment were not trying to deny the picture as real, not photoshopped, contrary to as what I and a couple other onlookers thought would be used as an excuse. By apologizing at the get go, it made the followers of this story to have a calm mind reading this as they did not immediately have doubts about the statement. As for the explanation by LOEN Entertainment, it was vague and not as detailed which shows that they were not trying to hide something as well as dismissing anything. They let the picture do the talking, what you see is what you get. But by doing this, it made the story more intriguing and more speculations are being made. To make this issue to die down, LOEN Entertainment sincerely asked for the followers of the story to not exaggerate the incident. From what IU's agency LOEN Entertainment stated, I think that this is the best way to address the issue by apologizing to all of the affected by the story and also admitting the authenticity of the picture and not try any nonsense such as Photoshop. Also, by keeping the explanation vague shows that they are not in a defensive standpoint and that reflects their sincere apology. Even though they did not go into the details of the picture, being IU on her pajamas and Eunhyuk appears shirtless, it allowed the readers to make an assumption on what happened between the two before the picture selca. Asking the readers to not exaggerate and make assumption was the best thing they can ask for which will be up to the readers on what they would do. As for me, I have always go with the saying about gossips, "There are FACTS in newspaper, but there is no TRUTH" which I got from "Glory Jane". For the meaning of the saying, things that is presented to you are FACTS (picture) but they only one that knows the TRUTH are the people who were involved (IU and Eunhyuk). The truth will only be known if the party involved shared it and if not it will be between both of them forever.
My 2 cents on the photo: The photo shows IU in her pajamas taking a picture with Eunhyuk, who appears to be shirtless and look tired. People who are exposed to these stuff will play it out in their head in a green minded (sexual) way. I too will not deny that I look at it in some way. Then again I will not make assumption and exaggerate things from a mere picture. As what the picture show reflects what I think about it, just a selca of IU and Eunhyuk.
Author's Note: This was written a day later all of these articles were published, just edited out some parts. So far only LOEN Entertainment made a statement about this issue. There were some news that Eunhyuk guesting were cancelled. IU's schedule were not.

When an IU related as well as Eunhyuk related articles were made in Allkpop.com, you will see the 2 idols being mentioned in the comment section even though the latter of the 2 were not mentioned in the article.
Even though the story died down, there are still articles trying to relate it to the issue even if the the article is about another topic.
Netizens can be funny! As long as they don't over exaggerate. Witty comments are fun to read. :D
